Real Estate Appraiser

A real estate appraiser is a professional who estimates the value of real property, such as land and buildings. The purpose of an appraisal is to provide an unbiased estimate of the value of a property for a variety of purposes, such as selling or financing a property, settling an estate, or determining property tax assessments.

Real estate appraisers use a variety of methods to estimate the value of a property, including analyzing recent sales of comparable properties, considering the location and features of the property, and taking into account the current real estate market conditions. They also use specialized software and tools to analyze data and present their findings.

To become a real estate appraiser, one must typically meet certain educational and licensure requirements. This may include completing a specific number of classroom hours, passing an exam, and obtaining a license from the state where they plan to practice. The requirements for becoming a real estate appraiser vary by state, so it’s important to check the specific requirements in your area.

Real estate appraisers play an important role in the real estate industry, as they provide a valuable service to buyers, sellers, lenders, and others by providing an accurate estimate of a property’s value.

Real Estate Appraiser in Miami

If you’re looking for a real estate appraiser in Miami, you’ve come to the right place. Marisol Zenteno, a real estate appraiser in Miami-Dade County, and Mr. Garcia are certified real estate appraisers. They can help you make an informed decision about the value of your home.

Marisol Zenteno is a property appraiser in Miami-Dade County

Marisol Zenteno is running for Property Appraiser in Miami-Dade County. Property taxes are an invaluable source of revenue for the county and the Property Appraiser department is responsible for collecting these funds. Zenteno’s campaign is centered on bringing her office into the 21st century. Her goals include translating the county website into Spanish and Creole and offering more assistance to taxpayers, especially those who cannot afford the cost of legal representation.

Zenteno has been in the property appraisal field for 17 years. Prior to that, she was an independent contractor with a Miami-based real estate appraisal firm. After raising her two children, she went on to work for the Property Appraiser’s office as an income evaluation specialist. She currently earns $77,000 a year. Zenteno is a past president of the League of Women Voters of Miami-Dade and served on the Commission on Human Rights. She ran for the Miami-Dade County property appraiser’s position and received 47% of the vote. It was a close race, with more than 180,000 votes cast.

In Miami-Dade County, Democrats endorsed six candidates in local elections. Four School Board candidates were endorsed by the party, along with one County Commission candidate. Marisol Zenteno, a property appraiser in Miami-Dade County, has been running for that position since 2014. This election will be her first time on the county commission, but she has worked for the Democratic Party for a decade and is the only Latina candidate endorsed by the party.

Mr. Garcia is a property appraiser in Miami-Dade County

Mr. Garcia has 38 years of experience as a property appraiser for Miami-Dade County. He also serves as a member of the Value Adjustment Board, an independent quasi-judicial body that adjudicates appeals by property owners. In 2008, Garcia became the county’s first elected property appraiser. He lost his seat in 2012 to Mr. Lopez-Cantera. He is a former close aide to Ronald Reagan and a leading figure in the Cuban-American community.

Garcia’s report helps taxing authorities prepare budgets by determining the value of property. It also identifies the impact of a recent law on property values, such as the ten percent cap on non-homestead assessments approved by voters in 2008. This cap was created as a means to help property owners pay their property taxes and is likely to continue to be an effective way to reduce property taxes.

The Miami-Dade property appraiser sets taxable values for more than 900,000 properties in the county. His office receives about $34 million in annual funding. As a result, the office’s budget is a very large one.

A recent increase in fake quitclaim deeds has led to an increase in fraud and deceptive transactions. Property owners should check the Property Search for changes in ownership to prevent being scammed by fraudulent agents. For more information, contact the Miami-Dade County Clerk of Courts.

Mr. Zenteno is a certified real estate appraiser

In addition to his experience as a certified real estate appraiser, Mr. Zenteno also has extensive community service experience. He served on the Dade County Commission on Human Rights and as president of the League of Women Voters of Miami-Dade County. He has over 15 years of experience appraising property in Miami-Dade County. He is running on a platform to improve the Miami-Dade Property Appraiser’s office. His main goals are to increase the office’s diversity and increase outreach.

Mr. Gallaher is a state-certified general real estate appraiser and a certified real estate instructor. He has extensive experience analyzing commercial, residential, and special purpose properties. He has also provided expert witness testimony in bankruptcy and other legal proceedings. In addition, he has testified as an expert witness for various real estate valuation issues, including eminent domain.
